Pastor Tyler Fenner answered the call to become Pastor of Mountain City Baptist Church in August of 2021. He served as Associate Pastor of Mountain City Baptist the year before and served as a Youth Pastor for seven years prior. Pastor Tyler is from Johnson County. He is a graduate of West Lenoir Baptist School of Ministry. He is married to Carrie Fenner, and they have two children Jasper and Ruby. Pastor Tyler loves people, has a God given ability to connect with youth, and is a gifted expository preacher.
Daniel Jones became Associate Pastor with focus on missions and outreach in August of 2021. He served as pastor of Mountain City Baptist Church for four years prior. He is married to Jessica, and they have four children: Anna, Laura, Caleb, and Titus. He serves internationally with Medical Missions through the ministry of Operation Renewed Hope.
